It's weird to say this about a team that has LeBron James on it...but the Cleveland Cavaliers are clear underdogs in the NBA Finals.
Not only did the Cavaliers limp into the playoffs, they were pushed to the brink of elimination twice by teams that most assumed they would glide through. Despite this being the Cavaliers fourth straight trip to the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors are currently being viewed as the clear cut favourites.
The general consensus has been that LeBron James has pretty much single-handedly carried the Cavaliers to the Finals, so when fans witnessed Jordan Clarkson's pre-game blunder, the jokes came pouring in.
Yes, yes, we know Clarkson simply dropped a pass, and this isn't really indicative of anything. But Clarkson hasn't exactly played the last few games, and if he and his teammates continue to fall short of expectations, this may be a short NBA Finals.
