Okay, so apparently the NFL’s scariest individual goes by the name of Jon Gruden.
You’d think the 6’6, 290 pound J.J. Watt would fit the bill, or his 6’5, 255 teammate Jadaveon Clowney. But after seeing Jon Gruden’s opening speech in the first episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks, we’re certain this dude takes the cake. Just look at what he had to say to Raiders players at training camp…
Uh… can we remember for a moment that Gruden was in the broadcasting booth just two years ago?!
If you have a craving for more Gruden content then just give his best Mic’d Up moments a watch. Think we can all agree that there hasn’t been an NFL coach in history quite like coach Gruden.
On a brighter note… Raiders players got a bit of a kick out of a special guest at camp. The king of flavour town Guy Fieri himself was in attendance and fans were loving every second of it.
After missing the playoffs last season with a 4-12 record, we should probably expect better after this speech. Who wouldn’t want to run through a wall for this man?!?!
