The Washington Wizards are, uhh, going through it right now. They sit a couple games outside of the playoff picture with a 5-11 record, but teams can be forgiven for a slow start (the Houston Rockets, for example, are in the same situation over in the West).

What is more concerning, though, is that tensions appear to have reached a boiling point amid all of the losses. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported earlier today that the Wizards were making everybody on the roster, including stars John Wall and Bradley Beal, available by trade, and now more reports of the team’s inner strife are coming out.

These guys really don’t seem to like each other.

There have been rumors in the past that hinted at a dysfunction within the Wizards’ locker room — as early as a few years ago, Wall and Beal were suggested to dislike playing with each other, and more recently, Wall exchanged shots through social media with his teammate, Marcin Gortat (since traded to the Los Angeles Clippers).

Although talented, the Wizards haven’t been able to put the pieces together throughout the John Wall era, and now you wonder if maybe this is why. There could be a rebuild coming.

Ironically, when DeMar DeRozan was traded away by the Toronto Rpators in the summer, Wall was one of the NBA players to speak out on social media about the Raptors’ lack of loyalty — stressing the importance of communication.
