Hockey is finally coming back, and as players take the ice with teammates for the first time in months we all begin to focus on the same thing – who’s got what it takes to win the Stanley Cup?

For John Tavares, there’s a little more up in the air. On Wednesday, Tavares announced the launch of the John Tavares Foundation, aiming to prioritize wellness and inclusivity through sport.

With all the stress of today’s world, it’s refreshing to see public figures trying their best to do good. Now with the launch out of the way, JT and the Leafs can fully turn their attention towards Lord Stanley’s mug.
