What a series. What a game. What a moment.
Kawhi Leonard hit a buzzer-beating shot that broke the tie and sent the Toronto Raptors into the East Finals. While it may have been ecstasy on one side, it is heartbreak on the other. While the Raptors were celebrating possibly the biggest moment in Raptors history, the Sixers were accepting that their offseason had just begun.
Joel Embiid appeared to take it particularly hard, and on his way back to the dressing room he was captured with tears streaming down his face.
Tough loss for the Philly big man, who was all over the Raps at times during this series. With a young core looking pretty promising, built around Embiid, the Sixers will no doubt be a force in the East in coming years.
Not this year, though.
