The Philadelphia Eagles came one step closer to their first ever Super Bowl in franchise history by knocking off the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 15-10 on Saturday.
Fans in the city of Brotherly Love were ecstatic, and celebrated accordingly at the Tailgates in and around Lincoln Financial Field.
One of those fans enjoying themselves in the Eagles big win was Philadelphia 76er Joel Embiid, who was kicking it with some Eagles fans down at the stadium.
A video obtained by TMZ Sports shows Embiid getting a little testy with one fan. The clip starts with Embiid reacting to what could’ve been a slight nudge to the Sixers’ centre. The 7-foot-2, 250-pounder responded with a hard push that sent the man completely out of the frame and into another dimension.
The size difference is quite startling. It’s hard to fully knock Embiid for what he did, because quite frankly, we don’t know the context or what the unknown man did to provoke Embiid.
Regardless, the optics don’t exactly reflect well on Embiid’s side given his stature and the size difference. But considering the nature of the event, it’s quite conceivable Embiid was just giving the guy a push back.
