A lot of people thought Kyrie Irving was pretty crazy when he decided he wanted out of Cleveland after the Cavs made three straight trips to the NBA Finals, but they thought he was even crazier after he went public with his flat Earth theory.
Basketball fans have started to cut Irving some slack for leaving Cleveland since the Boston Celtics currently own a 40-19 record and sit second in the Eastern Conference at the break, but they’re not going to let him live down his flat Earth theory.
On Thursday night, Irving was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live and you can bet his beliefs about the world being flat were brought up while he was on the show.
The duo also discussed this year’s NBA All-Star Game, playing for the Celtics, his new Uncle Drew movie and his ‘Friends’ tattoo, but the best part was definitely the segment about the Earth.
