It’s the Finals, baby. It’s where legends are made.

The NBA Finals are in full swing, and before tonight, it looked a bit like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Lakers would ride their 2-0 series lead to a Championship with relative ease over the Miami Heat.

Not on Jimmy Butler’s watch, folks!

Jimmy Buckets absolutely popped off tonight in the Heat’s exciting 115-104 win over the Lakers, where he put up an incredible 40 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists. This wasn’t just a career high for him, it was also a pretty significant accomplishment historically.

Butler is just the third player in league history to get a 40-point triple-double in the Finals, and this will go down as one of the best individual Finals performances ever.

The Heat are riding some serious momentum with hopes of tying their series at two games apiece, all thanks to this crazy performance by Jimmy Buckets.

While many great players would have rightfully loved the personal victory, Jimmy Buckets had no interest in talking about personal feats.

He had one thing on his mind: win.

Jimmy Butler will be scary to stop with that mentality, and with both teams so invested in pulling off a bubble Championship, this series should just continue to heat up.
