By now, everyone in Canada has heard about the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. The tragic Friday evening accident has taken the lives of 16 Humboldt Broncos players/staff, and has left many more injured. As a result, there has been a huge outpouring of support towards the friends, families, and all those effected.
The support has come in many forms. NHL team are paying tribute in a variety of ways, including “BRONCOS” nameplates and financial donations. The rest of Canada, and extending beyond the borders, has put together one of the highest grossing GoFundMe campaigns of all-time. On top of all that, the Sticks Out for Humboldt campaign has taken off as well.
Another form support has come in is Jersey Day – April 12.
