It’s customary for players who win an NBA championship and then change teams in the offseason to receive their championship rings upon their first visit back to their old team’s home arena.

Kawhi Leonard got his when the Los Angeles Clippers came to Toronto, and a few unsigned players such as Eric Moreland and Jodie Meeks were able to take part in the opening night ceremony along with the rest of the team.

Jeremy Lin, however, is playing with the Chinese Basketball Association's Beijing Ducks right now, so getting the ring over to Beijing was a bit more of a process. He finally got it, though! His first impression? That thing is FAT.

Jeremy Lin got his championship ring and that thing is still a stunner 🙌

Lin wasn’t a major contributor for the championship team, but the man behind the Linsanity craze still had plenty of fans for being a clean-up guy in garbage time. Of course, it was cool for a lot of people to watch him become the first Asian-American to win a NBA championship.

Now playing in China, Lin is in a unique position to have an impact as one of the few Asian-American success stories in the NBA returning to play in front of Chinese fans, and we’ve already seen some very special moments as a result.
