The offseason is not only a time for players to kick back and relax, but also start preparing for the upcoming season.

There's always something for a player can do to take their game to another level, whether it be putting in work on the ice or working out off the ice.

Coyotes fans are probably hoping their young players are hard at work this summer so they can help Arizona try and get back to the postseason.

Luckily, we can confirm 19-year-old 2016 first-round pick Jakob Chychrun is doing his part this offseason to improve on his rookie campaign.

Yes, that was a seated box jump and yes, that was absolutely ridiculous.

Successfully completing a regular box jump is difficult enough, but doing a seated box jump is just incredible.

Last season, Chychrun was thrown into the fire and recorded 20 points in 68 games.

The defenceman also averaged just under 17 minutes of ice-time a game and he figures to be a key contributor for a revamped Coyotes roster.

Trade Alert: #Rangers have traded #Stepan and #Raanta to the #Coyotes for D'Angelo and the 7th overall pick
