The Vancouver Canucks continued their lengthy six-game road trip with a stop in Tampa Bay on Thursday night, and while they were a few thousand kilometres away from home, the Canucks still had plenty of fans in attendance cheering them on.
As the team hit the ice for their pre-game warm-ups, one young fan in particular caught the eyes of the players, especially Canucks goalie Jacob Markström, who hooked up the young fan with one of his sticks.
The young fan probably didn’t expect to get a stick just because he showed up in a goalie mask, but it worked out well for him in the end.
