Hockey players are in full dryland training mode. With the end of the Stanley Cup Playoffs more than a month in the rearview mirror, most athletes have ended their vacations and begun training again.
The Islanders’ Mathew Barzal and Jets’ Nicolas Petan are in Vancouver to do their training, with the professional trainer Rob Williams of Sport Core Performance. He also trains other athletes like former BC Lion, now New Orleans Saint Adam Bighill. However, Tuesday was a special day as the crew got a visit from Olivia Munn, who trained with them.
She’s even starting to think she might have a shot at the NHL next season.
We’re not sure if she’ll be ready for the NHL draft, but Barzal and Petan will definitely be ready for their NHL season. They’ve been putting in work on the beaches of Vancouver.
