To say Connor McDavid is out of this world might be an understatement.
Following his performance last night as the Oilers took on the New York Rangers and won 6-5 in OT, the guy definitely silenced his critics.
As McDavid weaved through four, yes FOUR Rangers players to score an absolutely insane goal to tie the game late in the third period and force OT, he instantly put himself in the running for Goal of the Year.
Truly, weโre blown away.
But what might be even better than McDavidโs goal?
His absolute rock-star response in the post-game press conference.
When discussing the goal, McDavid showcased true GOAT energy, sharing how he gets paid to score big goals.
Ya know, no big deal. Just a humblebrag. McDavid is just casually being a hero to not only Oilers fans, but hockey fans by showcasing a great deal of humbleness when discussing that he is just literally doing his job.
