Judging by the Stanley Cup keg stand, his time at the Nationals game and the shirtless swimming in a fountain, many people thought Alexander Ovechkin’s hangover would be pretty bad on Sunday.
However, the Russian Machine Never Breaks.
Ovechkin was spotted Sunday afternoon at a Washington restaurant, much to the surprise of the people there. Nikhil Gupta tweeted out a photo that his parents had sent him of Ovechkin at a Sushi restaurant where he was apparently ‘crushing’ sushi.
Fans were both endeared and confused by this – some by the fact that he chose sushi after a full day of drinking and others that he was out of bed at all.
These people were probably even more surprised to see his snaps from later Sunday night where he had some of his Capitals teammates over for a barbeque and the drinking continued.
