A lot of basketball fans were stunned after they watched the Cleveland Cavaliers unload what felt like their entire roster in a matter of minutes during this year’s trade deadline.
The newest members of the Cavaliers weren’t ready to make their Cavs debut on Friday night, so they went into Atlanta a little shorthanded. However, that still didn’t stop them from steamrolling over the Hawks, 123-107.
The Hawks fans didn’t waste any time throwing shade at LeBron James and the Cavaliers as they chanted “LeBron will trade you” and “LeBron will leave you” whenever a member of the Cavs not named LeBron James went to the free throw line early on in the game.
Since those two chirps covered everyone on the roster except for LeBron, the fans made sure to come up with another one specifically for King James.
The Hawks fans got in plenty of good chirps throughout the night, but James and the Cavs got the last laugh as he finished with 22 points, 17 assists and 12 rebounds in the victory.
