Oh, how we’ve missed live sports up here in Canada. While we watch our American neighbours begin to shift back to normalcy, we simply need to wait until our time comes. Whether or not the crowds are irresponsible is a different conversation, but the first group of Canadian fans may have the opportunity to attend a sporting event next week.

The Montreal Canadiens announced on Tuesday that they were scheduling the Bell Centre reopening for Game 6 on May 28th. By this point, Canadian hockey fans have gotten pretty sick of hearing the fake crowd noise.

While the tickets are likely to be nearly impossible to get, it will even help to improve the atmosphere while you’re watching from the couch. You can get the 12% capacity is going to sound like more than that considering how long they’ve been away.

Needless to say, fans are pretty stoked about it, and there was some pretty expected chirping between Leafs and Habs fans as well.
