Tim Duncan played his entire 19-year NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs and helped bring five NBA titles to the city of San Antonio during his time with the Spurs.

During that span Duncan also won three NBA Finals MVP awards, two NBA MVP awards, was an All-Star 15 times, and set just about every individual franchise record - including games played, field goals, rebounds, blocks and points – and now he’s ready to give coaching a shot with the only team he ever played for during his career.

Last month the Spurs announced that Duncan is returning to the team as an assistant coach. On Monday, Gregg Popovich was asked about his newest assistant and the USA Basketball and Spurs head coach had some fun with his answer.

Popovich always seems like the most serious man in the world when it comes to basketball and any questions about the game, but sometimes he likes to show his looser side and have some fun with the reporters and the answers he gives them.
