On Monday, Vince Carter confirmed he'll be returning to the NBA for the 2019/20 season, which will be his 22nd in the Association. At the age of 42, Carter is still contributing which is incredible to say the least, but not everyone was in favour of his return.
Former 3-time All-Star Gilbert Arenas had an unconventional take on Carter's decision to return for a 22nd season and his take was in the form of a comment on an Instagram post about Carter.
We told you it was an unconventional take.
Carter hasn't played a prominent role on a team for a little while now, but he still plays over 16 minutes a game and is an incredible person to have as a mentor for young players.
He provides value for any team beyond the box score, but the fact that he can still produce at his age just makes him that much more valuable, so it's hard to agree with Arenas' take on VC deciding to come back for another season.
