Alligators like golf courses and humans don’t like alligators.
Well, that’s not true; it’s not that humans don’t like alligators it’s just that they shouldn’t get to close to them without the proper training. Sometimes though, you don’t really have a choice. Sometimes they march right up onto a golf course and around several groups of people.
In fact, lately it seems like more than sometimes. This seems to happen a lot in the States.
The latest example is at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina, where a charity golf tournament was being held a massive gator showed up. The Post and Courier spoke to some of the people at the event and they described it as “literally a dinosaur”. See it for yourself in the videos below.
Recently, we’ve seen gators on actual PGA tour events and many other spots around golf course, but they’re not all out to get you. Still, even Erik Karlsson can tell you, these things are scary up close.
