Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan just staked his claim for best stick flip in hockey history.
Friday, the Flames practice went a little off the rails following an unexpected outburst from Gulutzan that seemed to have been triggered by a lack of enthusiasm from his players. The second your coach starts skating in a circle and swearing under his breath, you know you're in for it. But you probably wouldn't expect the him to react by tossing his stick into another area code. Some say the stick is yet to have landed.
Just kidding. It landed and someone actually had to go retrieve it.
The Flames currently find themselves three points out of a wild card spot, but are riding a two game win streak. However, they've been anything but consistent this year, as their 4-4-2 record in the last ten games would tell you.
Expect the Flames to come out charged up and ready to dominate when they face the Ducks on Saturday.
