It’s Thanksgiving week in America, and players and teams are in the giving mood. You can see the Salvation Army bin’s on the sides of football fields, with Ezekiel Elliott taking full advantage. While there are no NBA games on actual Thanksgiving, it didn’t stop Russell Westbrook from making one fan’s holiday season a little nicer.
It’s not uncommon for athletes to give their shoes away, but the sheer shock on this fan’s face is awesome. He looks confused, as though Westbrook had thrown them to him by accident. It’s a little more generous than a few weeks ago when he was trying to make a deal.
