MLB opening day is exactly one week away and baseball fans are ready to dive into the 162 game season. Players are starting to hit their stride and so are the fans.
During a Sunday afternoon spring game between Miami and St. Louis a foul ball was launched into the stands and one fan made a stellar grab. Now, when it comes to foul balls, fans will pretty much sacrifice anything to acquire that souvenir. But nowadays with how expensive beers are at sporting events, some fans would prefer to save their drink instead of catching a ball.
The fan was able to catch the ball and hold on with one hand while protecting his beer in the other. It’s not like his beer was half full, the man was able create minimal spillage throughout the spectacular move.
Baseball games can be quite entertaining even if the ball is out of play. Just scan throughout the fans and you’re sure to see something amusing.
