The Colorado Avalanche probably want to erase any memory of the 2016-17 season in which they finished in last place in the NHL.
The team finished the season with just 22 wins and 48 points, the second lowest total for both categories since the team moved to Colorado.
As bad as the season was, though, the Avalanche have a ton of young talent on their roster and the potential first overall pick in the 2017 draft to look forward to.
