People from around the world have been showing their support for the Humboldt Broncos and the Humboldt community in many different ways since last week’s tragic bus accident that took the lives of 16 people and injured 13 others.
On Friday afternoon, Erik Karlsson joined the millions of voices around the world paying tribute to the victims of the Humboldt bus crash with a heartbreaking #PutYourSticksOut tribute post on his Instagram story.
The Ottawa Senators captain and his wife, Melinda, lost their son, Axel, last month, so his tribute to the team carried particular emotional weight.
From charitable donations to Jersey Day, to the #PutYourSticksOut movement, people around the world are finding different ways to honour the victims of the accident and the support has been truly incredible.
