It's been an exciting couple of days for Erik Karlsson.
Saturday, the Senators captain had the opportunity to play an outdoor game with his teammates against Montreal and they won their second straight game win a 3-0 victory.
On Sunday, less than a month after announcing to the world he and his wife Melinda were expecting their first child, the two found out if they'd be having a boy or girl in an amazing hockey-related way.
All the feels right there.
We've seen other sports related gender reveals like basketball or golf, but rarely do we see hockey themed gender reveals, and we're not afraid to say Karlsson's is easily one of the best we've seen.
We wish Melinda, Erik and their future child nothing but happiness and good health as they await the birth of their son.
