If anyone's bound to have an epic backyard rink, it's an NHL player. They've got the means, and they've got the dream.
Every year TSN's very own Darren Dreger shares out a ton of images of awesome backyard rinks from around the world. The majority of the ones that Dreger shares are usually from everyday hockey fans, but sometimes they come from NHLers. Friday, Dreger shared an image of Minnesota Wild star Eric Staal's backyard rink and oh my is it a beauty.
It doesn't matter how much hockey you play in a week, or if you have a professional practice facility at your disposal, it's just plain fun to have a hockey rink in your backyard. Earlier this week Dreger retweeted a bunch of backyard rinks. In case you missed it, you should check them out. Just try not to get too jealous, as some of the rinks are gorgeous.
