The ECHL is a hard working league and the players in it aren’t going to let something silly like a broken down bus stop them from getting where they need to go.
Less than 12 hours after the Brampton Beast won a double overtime thriller, they were out pushing their bus into a stop at the U.S.-Canada border. The night before, Luc-Olivier “Blain Train” Blain helped set up Brandon MacLean’s game winning goal on the back of Zach Fucale’s 43 saves.
Still, every one of them was outside that bus pushing it where they needed to go.
Of course, we assume they were allowed to skip practice after this.
The Beast are currently leading their series 3-2 and are on the road for game 6 tonight in Reading. If they can close out the series tonight, we have an idea of how they might celebrate.
