The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off their second loss of the season and it’s not going to get any easier for them this upcoming weekend.
On Sunday, the Eagles will visit the Los Angeles Rams in a showdown between two quarterbacks who have shown all season long why they were the top two picks in last season’s draft. Since the Eagles are currently in the middle of a three-game road trip, the team won’t get a chance to prepare at their own practice facility during the week leading up to Sunday’s game.
Luckily for the Eagles, they happen to know a guy who also works at a pretty massive venue in California.
It looks like the Eagles will be spending a lot of time at Angel Stadium this week, courtesy of die-hard Eagles fan and two-time AL MVP Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels.
Trout, a Vineland, New Jersey native, was in attendance for the Eagles’ Week 8 victory over the San Francisco 49ers and Philly’s offence celebrated a touchdown in his honour and even hooked him up with a couple of game balls.
The stadium used to be the home of the Los Angeles Rams from 1980-1994, but Trout is probably a lot happier to see the Eagles practicing at the stadium instead of the Rams.
