Drake hasn’t released a full studio album in over two years but his fans don’t have to wait much longer for the next one.

Despite recently ending up on the losing end in a rap battle with Pusha T, the Toronto native is moving on and focusing on his upcoming release ‘Scorpion’, which is scheduled to be available the minute the clock strikes midnight on June 28. As a way to let his followers know about the midnight release, he shared this image on his Instagram story late Tuesday night.

The former actor turned rapper used a classic photo of a bloodied Tie Domi to promote his upcoming album and it’s something that his hometown fans will certainly get a kick out of.

This isn’t the first time Drizzy has shown some love for Tie Domi or for former Toronto Maple Leafs players in general as he shared this post earlier this year.

Drake has been known to include many sports references in his songs, so perhaps this means a Leafs shout-out is coming up in the next release.
