Former Buffalo Bills and New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan is perceived as a bit of a crazy personality around the National Football League, and the mental games he plays with opposing players is one of the many reasons he carries that perception.
Having coached both the Bills and Jets, Ryan has become quite familiar with New England Patriots' Tom Brady. A little too familiar, as the coach went an unimpressive 4-12 against the quarterback as a head coach. We doubt the Falcons are looking for advice from a coach who went 4-12 against Brady, but honestly, they need all the advice they can get.
The following excerpt is from the New York Daily News, and transcribed by For The Win:
Using Peyton Manning as a way to crawl under Brady's skin is an interesting tactic, however, not one the Falcons can exactly use. After all, Manning is retired and watching the Super Bowl from his couch.
If Brady wins a fifth Super Bowl, it gets a lot easier to argue he's the greatest quarterback of all-time, but do you know what quarterback would definitely be the greatest ever if he existed? Peytom Branning!
