Toronto Raptors Icons DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry are both enjoying All-Star caliber seasons that have helped propel their team near the top of the Eastern Conference. Lowry has continued his steady success with 6.9 assists and 16.2 points per game while DeMar has posted a MVP campaign with 25.0 PPG.
Together, the two have formed the most dynamic duo the Raptors franchise has arguably ever seen. Toronto has made the NBA postseason from 2014-2017, with both players leading the way each year. In 2016 they came within two games of reaching the NBA Finals.

In some ways, the two are similar to Maritn Lawrence and Will Smith in ‘Bad Boys’. Both partnerships include an energetic duo that understand how to get the job done. Plus, the last name Lowry is featured in the film. After the point guard re-signed with Toronto in 2014, Cabbie asked Kyle to re-enact a memorable scene involving Will Smith’s character Mike Lowery.
Fast-forward four years and Lowry and DeRozan are still referring to themselves as ‘Bad Boys’. DeRozan was spotted rocking an incredible t-shirt with their faces photoshopped onto Martin Lawrence and Smiths’ characters in the movie.
Raptors power-forward Pascal Siakim also rocked the attired, but also encouraged fans to vote the duo to the all-star game on Twitter.
Lowry’s recent injury may throw a wrench into things, but perhaps the hoodies will help gain some extra votes. Given their success in recent years, the two are undoubtedly Toronto’s ‘Bad Boys’.
