As the Phoenix Mercury advanced to the WNBA Finals Friday evening following a Game 5 win over the Las Vegas Aces, the Mercury player had more than just the semifinals win to celebrate as Taurasi and her wife Penny Taylor welcomed their second child in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Taurasi had hopped on a plane back home and raced to the hospital to be able to be by her wifeโs side as they welcomed a baby girl at 4:24 AM.
Though the moment gets even sweeter with this incredible statistic.
