Masai Ujiri met with the media on Friday for the first time since dealing DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a first-round draft pick to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard and he opened it up with an apology to the Raptors’ all-time leading scorer.

It's the ultimate bittersweet move for Raptors fans as they get to welcome one the NBA’s top players to town but it came at the price of the most beloved player in franchise history. Shortly after the press conference wrapped up and Ujiri’s comments made their rounds online and it appears that DeRozan isn’t ready to accept the apology just yet.

This could mean just about anything as the four-time NBA All-Star posted nothing but an emoji in his Instagram story shortly after the conference, but all signs are pointing to him not being ready to accept the apology or believing anything Ujiri said in the conference. Either way, he has every right to be upset and frustrated by the whole situation, especially since he went public about being told he wouldn’t be traded.
