The Toronto Raptors are in the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history, but their toughest opponent is on the horizon in the Golden State Warriors. Making a fifth-straight Finals appearance, the Warriors are going for a third-straight title and fourth in the last five years.
Simply put, the Raptors need all of their players to be at their best in order to dethrone the champs. In the Eastern Conference Finals, a number of role players stepped up to help Toronto advance, but Danny Green enters the Finals still struggling.
While Green has been lights out in the NBA Finals over the course of his career, he enters the biggest series in Raptors history having made over 30% of his threes in just one of his last eight games.
He also hasn't made a three since going 1-for-6 in Game 3 against the Bucks. Monday, Green spoke to the media and jokingly talked about this struggles from distance.
Despite Green's struggles, his teammates haven't lost any confidence in him and it's only a matter of time before the man that set the record for most made threes in a Finals finds his shot again. (H/T: Josh Lewenberg)
