It's hard to believe that Carmelo Anthony still doesn't have an NBA home for the upcoming season, but the 10-time All-Star is still unsigned after playing just 10 games last season with the Rockets.

The 35-year-old is still better than serviceable and more than capable of contributing, but at the moment, interest in his services seems to be non-existent.  Damian Lillard wants that to change, though, and he's tweeting everything he can to make that happen.

The natural response to Lillard's tweet was why don't the Blazers sign the future Hall of Famer, but Portland's payroll will not allow them to do so at the moment.

There are a number of teams that have the space to sign Melo, who according to his trainer just wants a farewell season.

Anthony is deserving of a comparable "farewell tour" to Wade's and if it were up to us, that tour would start with him representing the United States at the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
