There were a couple of crazy finishes to playoff games in the NBA and NHL late in the night on Tuesday.  The Sharks completed a comeback for the ages to win Game 7 against the Golden Knights and Damian Lillard hit an ABSURD game-winning shot to send Portland to the second round.

The shot was from way downtown and Paul George, who was defending Lillard on the play, had this to say about the shot following the loss.

It might be a bad shot for some players, but Lillard is not one of those players and he had a simple response on Twitter to George's take on the series-winning shot.

We say that wasn't a bad shot for Lillard because the stats actually back it up.

As you can see, he's well above the average shooting percentage from 30-40 feet, so it's easy to understand why Lillard responded the way he did.

Despite all the chirping that went on throughout the series, Lillard and company had the last laugh when it was all said and done, and the Trail Blazers are in the second round for the first time since 2016.
