These are definitely unusual times, and they call for some unusual solutions. For CTV reporters who are still conducting interviews from the field, they have come up with an inventive way of doing their jobs while practicing social distancing.
They’re taping their microphones to the ends of hockey sticks as a DIY boom mic! This is extremely Canadian.
This inspired us, and on Thursday’s Digital SportsCentre, Corwin decided to show off some of the other ways that a hockey stick could be used to help with social distancing, such as opening doors and delivering food.
Um... We’re not so sure that washing your hands with a hockey stick is as helpful as the other examples, but hey, if you can do it with a hockey stick, why wouldn't you?
