Colorado Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen has been on a tear recently, scoring 21 points in his last 17 games and helping his team go 10-6-1 over that stretch. The Finn has been playing on a line alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog, and the trio has demonstrated great chemistry together this season.

The Avs’ took on their Central division rival Minnesota Wild at home last night, and Rantanen was caught beside his line mates singing a classic tune on the bench. As the Pepsi Center’s audio crew blasted Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin' on a Prayer’, Rantanen was seen reciting the lyrics during a television broadcast.

We’re sure everyone can agree that 'Livin' on a Prayer' is easily one of the more enjoyable songs to sing along too.

Rantanen isn’t the only player to have been caught on camera participating in something outside of the actual game. New Jersey Devils forward Taylor Hall was recently shown glaring at a Ric Flair video on the Prudential Center’s jumbotron and stared at the screen like a five-year-old looking at his candy on Halloween for the first time.

Spirits are seemingly much higher after the Avs’ disastrous 2016-17 last place finish, and it’s nice to see the players having some fun again.

Even when it’s off the ice.
