Not only will the Philadelphia Eagles get a shot to clinch a spot in this year’s Super Bowl on Sunday evening, but they’ll get the chance to do it at home in front of the Eagles faithful.

Since the Eagles will have a chance to advance to their first Super Bowl since the 2004 season, Philadelphia police warned local business owners last week that they can’t guarantee their safety if the Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, the city took things a little further by taking to the streets to prepare for the game and what might come after it. With a spot in the Super Bowl on the line, the city workers have already started putting Crisco on the light poles in order to prevent fans from climbing them.

You definitely see something new every day because that’s a first for us. Perhaps other cities will take note and jump on this trend moving forward.
