The Carolina Panthers entered Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints in a must-win situation as they find themselves fighting for one of the final playoff spots in the NFC.
After both teams failed to get any sort of offence on their opening drives, the Panthers got on the board first on their second possession of the game and it was two unlikely players who connected for a 50-yard touchdown.
Turns out Christian McCaffrey can do it all as the Panthers running back took the handoff from Cam Newton and fired a pass to tight end Chris Manhertz, who took it the rest of the way for his first career touchdown.
You’ve got to do whatever it takes in order to keep your season alive.
