The Houston Rockets host the Miami Heat on Thursday night and it’s going to be the last time good friends Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade will ever play against each other in an NBA game.
Since it’s the last time the two will go head-to-head, Chris Paul and his son, Chris Jr., showed some love for the three-time NBA champion by rocking some D-Wade swag to the arena for Wade’s final game against the Rockets.
Getting a glimpse of the players’ outfits ahead of the game has become an NBA tradition over the years, and we’ve seen players arrive in jerseys before, but this is the first time we’ve seen a player show up to the game showing some love to someone from the opposing team. However, we totally get where CP3 and his son are coming from.
Wade has averaged 23.2 points, 5.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game in 28 career games against the Houston Rockets and he'll look to build off Wednesday night's heroics.
