Since 2013, Andy Reid has coached for the Kansas City Chiefs, which also means that he’s had the delight of Kansas City barbecue at his fingertips for years on years. Trust us, too, that man loves his food.
So, what we’re saying is, Andy Reid with Guy Fieri on a KC episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is just the perfect crossover. Reid brought Fieri to a local restaurant named Pigwich that specializes in ‘meat-filled sandwich bombs.’
These guys know their way around a sandwich. Reid can EAT, man.
On account of being professional athletes with highly tuned nutritional diets, we’re not sure if many athletes would really ever have the opportunity to go bite for bite with Guy Fieri. Fortunately, Reid loves a challenge, and also, a good short-rib patty sandwich.
