Chance the Rapper is one of the most influential rappers in the game right now. The Chicago native doesn't just influence people through his music, though, as he's always finding ways to give back to the place he's called home his entire life.
On Wednesday afternoon the Chicago Sky hosted the Washington Mystics, which was dubbed Kids and Music Day, and they used halftime to honour Chance the Rapper for everything he's done and continues to do in the community.
The 26-year-old said a speech at halftime, where he received the Community Hero Award, and after that was all said and done he made his way to the Sky's locker room to surprise the players.
Chicago ended up losing the game, 81-74, but it seemed like a good time for everyone in attendance regardless of the outcome.
