Sports fans will go to extreme lengths to let their opinions be known when they feel strongly about the issues surrounding their favourite team.
A San Diego football fan just literally decided to take it to another level to let the Chargers' fan base know how he feels about owner Dean Spanos relocating the team north to Los Angeles.
During Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders in Carson, California, an L.A. suburb, the Chargers fan named Joseph MacRae coordinated two different planes to fly over the StubHub Center with messages aimed at Spanos.
Up first was a sign that read "Forbes values an EPG Spanos Taco higher than you, Dean."
The next one read "Dean Spanos = The Mark Davis Haircut of NFL Owners."
MacRae's Twitter handle is SD Sign Guy, and by the looks of it, this isn't the first or last time you'll see him flying signs around Los Angeles.
He's even set up a GoFundMe account to try and rally up Chargers fans to help fit the bill of flyers the banners that are to be flown above in the team's five remaining home games.
The Chargers moved from San Diego last season and will be splitting a state-of-the-art $2.6 billion stadium with the Los Angeles Rams located in Inglewood that'll be open for action in 2020.
