After a solid rookie season, Carson Wentz established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in football this past season and without him, the Eagles would have never been in the Super Bowl.
Wentz tore his ACL against the Rams and although his season was cut short, many fans, experts and players thought he was deserving of the league MVP award, that's how incredible he was this season.
Wentz wasn't named MVP, but he did win the Super Bowl as Nick Foles led the Eagles to one of the most improbable victories in the history of the game.
Just days after winning the Lombardi Trophy (which will come with a beautiful ring), Wentz decided to get his girlfriend a ring, too, as he proposed to her on top of a castle.
Maddie Oberg said yes to Wentz and now the two are happily engaged! We wish the two nothing but the best in the future and as soon as Carson posted pictures of his incredible proposal, the internet shared their best wishes with the couple.
