The St. Louis Cardinals wrapped up a six-game home stand with a game against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday afternoon.

Right before the ceremonial first pitch was thrown, one of the team’s grounds crew members by the name of Lucas Hackmann was on the field to work on a stencil design behind home plate. However, on his way off the field he ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Lucas and his colleague were just trying to go on with their day and instead he ended up going viral due to the bad pitch.

As for Hackmann, who was not injured on the play, he’s the same member of the Cardinals’ grounds crew who is responsible for capturing the Rally Cat during a game against the Kansas City Royals last August.
