Toronto Raptors fans are in unfamiliar territory. With Friday’s Game 4 win in Golden State, they are just one win away from their franchise first NBA title, a feat even the most optimistic fans wondered if they’d see.
Here they are, up 3-1 in a series many counted them out of before it even began.
A lot of this is thanks to the trade which brought Kawhi Leonard to town. Leonard has been a beast all playoffs long, with Game 4 of the Finals no exception, and it’s sent the whole country on a ride. When asked about what this run meant to Canadians, Kawhi didn’t have an answer. He said you’d have to ask the fans on the street.
