“Can Cabbie kick it? Yes he can!” At least that’s what a select group of Vancouver Whitecaps players seem to think.

Soccer, and golf for that matter, aren’t two of Cabbie’s main sports, but that didn’t stop him from challenging Whitecaps players Kei Kamara, Alphonso Davies, and Russell Teibert in a challenge combining both games. After discussing the idea of adding some colour to Kamara’s unique hairstyle to make it look like 6ix9ine’s and reflecting on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s iconic first MLS goal, Cabbie took on the boys in some good old fashion Soccer Golf and as you’re about to see, our guy didn’t do so well.

That first kick was, uh… somethin’ else!

There’s a very important segment from the video that we’ve gotta discuss. THE ORANGES!!!! Whether you’re a soccer, hockey, or football player, there never seems to be enough darn oranges in the dressing room. And when’s that’s not an issue, you usually eat too many and feel like garbage on the playing surface afterward. To simply put it, you just can’t win with orange slices at intermission!

Alphonso Davies was unstoppable this weekend ☺️😱😱 @audicanada #AudiOnThePitch

The Whitecaps are in the midst of a relatively solid season (at least compared to the MLS’ other Canadian teams), leading the three with a 9-7-9 record through 25 games. With 10 goals, Kamara leads the Whitecaps with the 17-year-old Davies behind him with 5. The man (or boy) is 17 for crying out loud!

These seasons can feel extraordinarily long for players, but at least they were able to escape their jobs and enjoy a nice day on the greens.

… Kind of.
