Bryce Harper has been tearing up the MLB for a few years now. Over that time, his dominance at the plate has been one of his more distinctive qualities, but his personality has also shone through as one of the most unique in the league.
He’s one of those guys that you love to hate, or love to love, but every true baseball fan definitely has an opinion on the Washington nationals outfielder. His fiery persona, which has even gotten him into a physical altercation with his own teammate, alongside his blunt, don’t-give-a-damn attitude mix together for the perfect storm.
That’s what makes the latest video of Harper so delightfully juicy for Harper-haters. It shows him using two different blow dryers to achieve his famous hairstyle that belongs in a Johnny Bravo-type cartoon.
As it turns out, the viral video is a marketing teaser. Harper, an equity owner in Blind Barber, is using his locks as part of an endorsement for the company’s hair styling clay, beard balm, and dry shampoo. While it is disappointing that the video appears to be fake, it is made up for by the absolutely hilarious commercial showing Harper playing into his egotistical reputation.
Whether you love him or hate him, Harper will never cease to get a laugh out of an audience.
